This Privacy Policy describes how ClientPulse(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service. We aim to be plain about it.
Information we collect
When you sign up for ClientPulse we collect:
- Account info from Clerk (email, name, sign-in method)
- Payment info from Stripe for our subscription billing — we never see your card number; Stripe handles it
- The display name and notification preferences you choose
When you connect a Stripe account via OAuth (Stripe Standard Connect), we read the following data from your Stripe account and mirror it: customers, subscriptions, invoices, charges, products and prices. We do not write to your Stripe account — every Stripe API call ClientPulse makes is a read.
How we use your information
- To show you a clear view of your coaching practice
- To send transactional emails (welcome, weekly digest, reminders)
- To bill you for the ClientPulse subscription via Stripe
- To investigate and fix errors (via Sentry, with PII redacted where possible)
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not use it to train AI models.
Where your data lives
Application data is stored in Convex. Authentication data is stored in Clerk. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Hosting is on Vercel.
Your rights
You can:
- Disconnect Stripe at any time from Settings → Connection
- Cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing
- Delete your account and wipe all your data from Settings → Danger zone
- Email us at support@example.com for any access or rectification request
Cookies
We use only first-party cookies necessary for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update the “Effective” date at the top when we make changes. Material changes will be communicated by email.
